That is what was in it, the addition of the actual Holy Water did the trick. I believe there was some actual Exorcism involved as well. I am afraid to open it up, for fear of letting the Demon back in there.

The "Holy Water" was in the form of a filter chip on what was previously a vacant spot on the board. Made all the difference in the world with respect to decoding rate.
