Keith,

I've tried both red and blue with no results. I'm using all standard premade
cables, I'm not toogood at making my own.

Also the Nüvi doesn't give an error nor does it go into Dispatch mode.

On the Tracker2 i have firmware build 55076 and the Nüvi is version 6.20...If
that helps at all. Right now I have the vehicle half torn apart so everything
can be in one little area.

Yes it's powered via the cradle.

Great. The Nuvi must be powered externally for the FMI cable to work.

I'm assuming there is no fix for this. Everything is setup step for step
and still nothing. I guess it was a good idea but... If anyone gets any
brain sparks, please feel free to drop me a line.

There's always a fix. It should just be a matter of determining exactly
what the problem is. Are you plugged into the red or blue connector?
The red is port A and the blue is port B. I would go with BMODE
set to GARMIN and plug it in the blue connector. Then you can have
AMODE set to AUTO and have the option of connecting a puck type
non-display GPS receiver without any re-programming. So... if you
have another GPS receiver that can output NMEA, set it to AUTO
instead of GARMIN and see if the OT2m sees the data from the GPS.
Do you have the transmit data and receive data switched around
in the cable? Does the Nuvi go into "dispatch" mode or does it
show an "error" icon on the screen? You have hit the nail on the
head with the "not communicating" but the next step is to find
out why.
