I personally prefer the dark (but semi-transparent background), which  
is obviously why I set it that way. Perhaps it would help to explain  
my thinking behind doing it that way. I wanted to make the edit form  
more distinctive, to make it stand out from the rest of the page  
(particularly the list of actions in projects below it) because -  
functionally - it's one of the most important elements on the page,  
other than the list of actions itself. I also like the fact that it  
matches the style of the navigation bar.

However, I can understand if people think it's too strident. What do  
others using the trunk think? If you disliked it to start with, did  
you get used to it over time (heh, perhaps I'm clutching at straws  
here!).

I think if people want it to be lighter, I'd probably try to go for  
the same shade as the context headers (#ccc). One thing I'd like to  
do is keep the number of colours in the palette for the application  
fairly small, to avoid a 'busy' look.
