I don't mind if the svn repo is gone. I haven't looked back since 
the migration to git :-) A possible downside is that all references
to the tree in old tickets will become dead links, but I do not 
think that it will be really terrible.

The main issue I remember was 1) open source and 2) control over data
Lighthouse was not a open source solution and people we're not sure 
if you can get the ticket data it you want to migrate to another
solution.
