It was next on my TODO list, actually, but that has a 1+ month granulatiry :) I was about to start adding the TRAMP compatibility functions that Michael Albinus kindly told me were needed. The underlying store/fetch functionality should be all right, except it doesn't do attachments so the message is always one big text chunk. You could, instead, make the message contain metadata and put the payload in an attachment. It's all yours if you want it. I will gladly help with testing and whatever else you need.
