Some non-ASCII characters got lost from my mail. Maybe you apply the
following in your .emacs instead (it is the same setting, finally):
(setq tramp-shell-prompt-pattern
(base64-decode-string
"XCg/Ol5cfA1cKVteOiMkJT4KXSpbOiMkJT5dICpcKBtcW1swLTk7XSpbYS16QS1aXSAqXCkq"))
And please restart Emacs, after changing .emacs.
