Hello to all,
We are asking all payers to help in the development of a WEDi/SNIP White
Paper on "Choosing the Correct Implementation Guide for Billing Purposes".
This paper will attempt to outline if a provider has a certain service,
which Claim HIPAA implementation guide is to be used for the service to be
billed.
If you are a payer, please review the attached matrix.
The information needed are the check marks, X's, shading, whatever you
prefer. of a service to a specific form that you are billing to now. If you
support a service on any of the HIPAA claim forms, please mark as many forms
as necessary. The information needed and gathered will not be any names
(individual/organization), location, size, weight, height, etc. Just the
services and the ability to receive and process that service on a specified
form or any form.
If you do not process a specific service at all, please put an X in the
first column, "Service Not Processed". This will ensure that we would not
be missing any information.
