Does anyone have information on what is going to happen with the paper claim forms for the CMS-1500 and UB92? We are wrestling with the issue of the data content gap between the current paper forms and the ANSI 837 format. We are trying to determine how we will produce an outgoing 837 from an incoming paper CMS-1500 or UB92. We have heard that CMS and the National Uniform Billing Organization are doing an analysis on the forms, but we haven't heard anything more. What do you know?
