My question relates to the fact that CPT and HCPCS update their code sets periodically during the year, yet their coding manuals are only published annually. If codes are added after CPT, HCPCS, or other medical code set manuals have been published, are we out of compliance if we allow or disallow the new code? Carolyn S.
