We are converting our Point-of-Service devices, which
are covered under the DDE Exception. We are concerned with sending and receiving
the transaction. What does a data content compliant transaction look like as
opposed to a data content and format compliant transaction? Should we still use
the looping structure set by the Implementation Guides? Do we have to send the
segment identifiers? What I am trying to find out is, can we send a data stream
of the required elements only without identifiers and/or formatting elements?
