With both the 837 and 835 transactions the source for DRG's is the federal registry and Vol 15 of the Health Insurance Manual. These sources do not contain state specific DRG's (i.e. New York State APDRG's). Does this mean are all state APDRG's are non compliant and canno longer be used used with the 837 and 835 transaction sets?
