I did a test against tomsmcomp with the default settings and the 32detect that I was originally using. While I did get a significant performance increase with tomsmcomp, from 46 fps to over 60 fps on the first pass. The quality didn't seem to be as great as with 32detect. There was noticeable combing in the video from tomsmcomp while there was none in the video with 32detect.
