Unfortunately that's the way that I was thinking. :-) As a normal transcode user, it'd be challenge enough for me to understand the structure of the code and to follow it. Quick hack solution is the only thing I could do now, let alone an envision to re-write almost entirely the export layer. I'll cheer for you as you pursue your ambitious goal. :-) tong
