Right, sorry for the new thread, but i guess i have a totally different
problem now...
As mentioned earlier, running nuvexport (pretty much any version) with
mythtv (0.19.1 or 0.20) and trying to encode a recording to either xvid or
svcd with either transcode 1.0.2-0.pm.4 or 1.0.2-0.pm.5 rpm for suse 10.1
causes the following error:
Waiting for mythtranscode to set up the fifos.

that's what's causing the error, or if it's something else, at least then I
know what to try and fix.
