Hi, thanks for your hints, maybe i was a bit unclear in my first mail:
> AFAIK PVR already delivers a perfect mpeg2 program stream. I still need to cut the captured MPEGs. The output of avidemux2 was not in a form to write it to DVD. Also, i want to cut some broadcasts exactly on a frame, not only at I-Frames. So i use avidemux2 to cut the input and write it as MJPEG, yes, as MJPEG. I know of the difference to MPEG. Though there was a mistype in my original posting, sorry for that: > I try to convert this output to MJPEG compatible DVD with this command: Of course this needs to be MPEG, MJPEG is of course not DVD compatible. So because i want to cut exactly per frame i use AVI as output format, or better MJPEG + WAV PCM. I now want to convert this output to a DVD compatible format with the sequence i wrote in my first mail and got the errors also posted there. To my understanding MP3 is allowed on DVD, i already created some with MP3 and they worked fine (which is no proof, i know). >> mplay -o $out -f8 $video $audio >s/ay/ex/ ? Right, again a typo. I did not copy-paste the commands but re-typed them, as the scripts are located on my VDR PC. Thanks for any hints, Torsten.
