Hello: I'm using transcode as provided with dvd::rip 0.98.4 running under Ubuntu 7.04 64-bit.
I can rip audio from video DVDs without issue, but it's always 16-bit. The tools I was previously using under Windows almost always produced 24-bit files. I inquired at the dvd::rip mailing list, they indicated this was a function of transcode and suggested I ask here. Any ideas? Should it rip in 16-bit or 24-bit and is there a way to change it?
