[transcode-users] H.264 & MP4

Hi All

I am new to Transcode, and have been having trouble getting the proper 
output from my transcoding efforts. I would like to check with all of 
you to make sure that what I am doing is possible, and solicit some much 
needed assistance! I am trying to transcode from an arbitrary supported 
format to H.264 & MP3 encoded MP4 files. This choice of codecs and 
container will allow the video to be played in most modern players and 
also to be loaded and played dynamically in flash player 9. The ultimate 
goal is to allow users to upload video to our service, which transcodes 
it to MP4 and posts it for view on our site and makes it available for 
download. It would be possible to do this by transcoding two separate 
files, an avi and a flv, but I would rather note expend the resources 
creating, storing, and tracking duplicate versions of the same video. If 
anyone has gotten this to work and has the time to write about it, I 
would very much appreciate the effort.
