I agree. I don't have any short-term plan for that, because in my opinion there are still some architectural issues to solve before thinking about GUIs. I'll anyway happily support anyone willing to write down something. Maybe gtranscode can be an useful starting point (http://fuzzymonkey.net/software/gtranscode/).
