The post "Re: [dvd::rip] offtopic: syncing of sound" posted by user clamb...@xxxxxxx on the dvdrip forum discusses how the sync issues when transcoding some .vob files can be fixed by using mplayer to set the audio video sync using +- buttons. Then using avisync to fix the delay.
I am using ubuntu 9.10 and the mplayer installed does not have this +-
function. Is it specidic to a particular release of mplayer?
