I hadn't tried this before, so I was curious and gave it a shot...

WHERE 1 = :parameter does not appear to work, but it looks like you
can create an always-true "dummy" clause by doing
objectName.propertyName = objectName.propertyName, e.g.:

WHERE siteUser.ID = siteUser.ID
