Hey there, It was more if you had got a timeout before this, as in MG3 if there is a failure mid-init it can stay in a faulty state which causes all manor of weird errors. I think I've seen this error in Transfer before.. Aha, I think I may know what it is.
You running CF9? If so you'll need the latest bleeding edge Transfer I think which has some CF9 fixes. Try that. --- James Allen E: [email protected] Blog: http://jamesallen.name Twitter: @CFJamesAllen (Coldfusion / Web development) Twitter: @jamesallenuk (General) Lead developer of http://errrrrrr.com -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Sir Rawlins Sent: 06 January 2010 16:21 To: transfer-dev Subject: [transfer-dev] Re: Error on init of transfer Hey J, I've not managed to get the app to run at all yet, I just tried hitting it with the ?init flag on the URL but that didn't appear to make an difference. Thanks for the suggestion! :-D R On 6 Jan, 16:19, "James Allen" <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi Rob, > > Did you get any timeout's in MG before this error and then did a > reinit before seeing this? > > --- > James Allen > E: [email protected] > Blog:http://jamesallen.name > Twitter: @CFJamesAllen (Coldfusion / Web development) > Twitter: @jamesallenuk (General) > Lead developer ofhttp://errrrrrr.com > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] > > On Behalf Of Sir Rawlins > Sent: 06 January 2010 16:11 > To: transfer-dev > Subject: [transfer-dev] Error on init of transfer > > Hello Guys, > > I'm receiving the following exception when moving my application to a > shared host, can anyone shed any light on what might be causing it? > > " > Bean creation exception during init() of transfer.TransferFactory > > The EXCEPTION argument passed to the init function is not of type > struct.:If the component name is specified as a type of this argument, > its possible that a definition file for the component cannot be found > or is not accessible. > " > > Seems rather curious to me, I've not seen it before I don't think, I'm > open to all suggestions. > > Thanks, > > Rob
