This is the pleasing result of me writing to the KDE i18n people about extra information in the Translate Wiki about translation tools etc.

A friend and I are trying (again) to revitalize the kde-vi (Vietnamese, not vi the editor) project, and the KDE i18n people seem to be very helpful and well-organized.

Great to see this type of reaction, and the web of i18n information taking shape. :)

Hi Clytie and Claudiu !

I've added two links in l10n.kde.org menu (Localization Guide, and
Tools/Other tools...) to this very interested guide. I hope KDE
project will give you more traffic ;-)

Personally, I think it's very important to avoid duplicate work, so
I'm happy to find a new important resource about localization.

Cheers.

Subject: Translation Howto: Tools: Editors
Hello again :)

I'm working my way through your Translation Howto, which I think is
generally excellent.

I did want to offer some extra information on translation editors. On
Mac OSX, for example, I use an excellent PO/Xliff/Docbook/HTML
editor, LocFactoryEditor.
<snip>
There are quite a few translation editors by now, not only for PO
format, but for multiple formats, and multiple platforms. This page
at the Translate Wiki fills in some of the gap:
