Hi list.

I'm just reviewing the Pootle translations of Pootle 0.9 and came across
a translation mistake in a few languages.

A English message changed between the versions from
        <b>Current Translation:</b>
to
        Current Translation:

With the porting of the PO files the entries were marked fuzzy, as they
should. However, many translators seemed to miss the fact that the
b-tags were removed.

My concern is not so much with the translations (although I think it
will look a bit bad, since the _tags_ will be displayed with the
text :-), but to how this should be improved in Pootle.

I realise that part of the problem might be that Pootle 0.9 does not yet
indicate fuzzyness very clearly - only Quick Translate or a review of
the fuzzy check will take a translator to the fuzzy messages. Pootle
0.10 will indicate it clearly. Screenshots of these and other
improvements are available on the SourceForge project page at
https://sourceforge.net/project/screenshots.php?group_id=91920

I do think there might be an extra issue, though: is it natural for
Pootle users to press "Submit" just to go to the next entry? If it was
fuzzy before, this would take the fuzzy flag away. "Skip" should leave
the entry unchanged. Is this intention clear enough in the interface?
Any suggestions or comments?

Friedel
