Yes, I do realize it's not Pootle's fault. ;) > >> From my experience, a l10n freeze should last for at least two > *weeks*, whatever the length of translation work could be. They did freeze the application files for a couple of weeks. I don't know why the release notes were so late. I've been watching for them for quite some time now. > > This is just the amount of time needed to have the most reactive teams > react in about 1-7 days, then have a reminder from a general l10n > coordinator to the late people, and then have a few mor ereacting on > time during the second week. > > Any shorter delay will leave the smallest teams aside. I know it's the usual setting-limits dilemma, something I have never been good at solving. :( As always, I'd appreciate the benefit of your experience on this, Christian. I don't like the extra pressure, but I don't want to let my community down. Nor do I want to let down the Gnome Translation Project, which is usually very well-run. :( from Clytie (vi-VN, Vietnamese free-software translation team / nhóm Việt hóa phần mềm tự do) http://groups-beta.google.com/group/vi-VN ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
