Hello:
I'm very interested in using pootle / translate-tools.
I have several questions related to install problems.
(i) All I need are the Pootle and translate-tools versions which match, which
seem currently to be 0.10, right?
(ii)I've selected the *.bz2 versions of pootle and translate-tools. Why do
they appear in separate tar files upon being bzunzipp-ed ? After my
first failed attempt, I just bunzipped and then tar xvf'ed everything.
It looks like the directory structure inside of the separate tar files
points to the same place in all cases so this should be ok, right?
(iii)Upon doing the install, I logged in as root, su - , and then
change directories to the right place and then executed the
install python script:
./setup.py install
I got the following message:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "./setup.py", line 3, in ?
from distutils.core import setup, Extension, Distribution, Command
ImportError: No module named distutils.core
I would greatly appreciate any assistance. Please respond directly to
