Hi, I'm experimenting with using pootle for document translation. I found the translation process itself pretty slick and smooth. However the po document that I got from the html2po conversion still contained a lot of html markup:
> #: None:29 > msgid " src=\"/bigadmin/home/images/logoSmall.gif\" alt=\"BigAdmin\" width=\"170\ > " height=\"40\" border=\"0\">" > msgstr " src=\"/bigadmin/home/images/logoSmall.gif\" alt=\"BigAdmin\" width=\"170 > \" height=\"40\" border=\"0\">" > > #: None:30 > [...] Is that to be expected ? It's not too difficult to handle thanks to the "copy" button but it looks very irritating. When I converted the po file back using po2html it created merely a text file. All the original markup was gone and my translations where just concatenated line by line. The whole html framework was stripped off. > 1. Am I using the wrong tool or am I using the right tool wrong ? many thanks and best regards Christof ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
