you are right - I was just had the feeling, that its content should be
consistent anyway

your "impression" conforms to the specification :)
but: the baseurl (as used by pootle) does not include the protocol (as far as I
can see). Thus the result should be appropriate.
(even if it is uselesse because of the point you mentioned above)
