You just requested it :-) I added German to the terminology project. The terminology project started with an import from the Gnome glossary project. Some files (like the one for German) had encoding problems and I was a bit too lazy to fix them. Since then I also realised that that gnome list is perhaps not the most useful one for new teams, so in collaboration with the guys from Arabeyes, we built a POT file of about 1000 terms that should hopefully be more generally useful for software translation. So you will see a file called essential.po that you can start with. Thanks for your interest!
