Hi everyone :)

I'm catching up with my list mail again...

By the way, as a point of information, I have asked the good folks at
the Fink Project <http://finkproject.org/> to look into adding pootle
and the translate-toolkit to their repository, and Charles Lepple went
to it and did right away! Another way to get your hard work into the
hands of more people. Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to test
it out, and now that Pootle 1.0 has come out...

Does this mean I can keep my Translate Toolkit updated via fink now? Hmm...
___
clytie$ fink list -i | grep toolkit
i fltk-x11 1.1.6-11.1 GUI toolkit
(i) tcltk 8.4.13-3 Tool Command Language and the Tk toolkit
(i) tcltk-dev 8.4.13-3 Tool Command Language and the Tk toolkit (i) tcltk-shlibs 8.4.13-3 Tool Command Language and the Tk toolkit

Not listed, but Fink Commander (GUI access to fink) does list the Translate Toolkit, as version 1.0-1. I have Fink Commander set to unstable, maybe I don't have my command-line fink set to unstable yet.

Installing via Fink Commander... gak, lots of Python 25. I think I have Python in four different PATH sectors now, with the main system, manual installs, fink and MacPorts.

Downloading... config... compile... (gee, it's much faster using the Python install script in the package ;) ) repeat for each package...

Done.

clytie$ which oo2po
/sw/bin/oo2po

:)

(On OSX, /sw/bin is the fink install path; usr/local/bin is the manual install path, and I've forgotten where MacPorts installs)

Fink is listing the Toolkit in the category "text". Do we not have a i18n category?
