Hello,
I am trying to set up a Pootle installation in a Ubuntu Intrepid based
machine (x86_64). I am using the deb packages provided from the
sourceforge dowload area.
Initially I noticed that whenever I started Pootle via the
initscripts, it would stop responding as soon as I try to view the
strings in a PO file.
I did a su - pootle, and started PootleServer from the command line
(supplied the proper prefsfile via the options), and it seemed to work
fine.
However the problem could be reproduced again when I used the -B
option while starting PootleServer from the command line
On suggestion of Friedel on IRC, I straced the PootleServer process,
and here's what I got in the last few lines of strace:
stat("/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/JCC-2.1-py2.5-linux-x86_64.egg/jcc/classes/org/apache/lucene/document/Field.class",

futex(0x2308d84, 0x85 /* FUTEX_??? */, 1) = 0
futex(0x1ce5654, 0x80 /* FUTEX_??? */, 5 <unfinished ...>
(I have Lucene set up in the system, and the behaviour seems to be the
same whether I use Apache, or access Pootle directly)
Does anyone know what the problem might be ?
Thanks,
Sayamindu
