Thanks for that pointer to plural forms wikipage, I had been looking for a
page like that.

I may want to ask you a few questions off-line about setting up Pootle for
Aymara.  The Sugar Labs / OLPC Pootle instance has established an Aymara
project, but it is missing plural form and special character data and the
Aymara Sugar L10n community is only just starting to form and has not shown
much visible activity.

There is a substantial presence (on several hundred thousand XO laptops) of
Sugar software in Peru (also Uruguay, default lang-es) and some pilot work
by grassroots efforts in Bolivia just getting underway.  Our lang-es
localization is basically complete, which should be an aid to picking up
indigineous languages like Aymara and Quechua from South and Central
America.  It would be quite nice if future versions of Virtaal could perform
the poswap trick on the fly (start with lang-es PO, but create lang-ay
output) as that would require less coordination/maniputaltion before and
after the fact, but maybe that can be worked into a future release.
