hi,

I've installed Pootle 2.0.5 from Ubuntu 10.10 repositories (same thing
happened when I ran 2.1. I need .po files that it generates to be
readable by the www-data user (Apache). I added www-data to the
pootle group, but the .po files can't be read by the group:
mus...@gumbas:/var/lib/pootle/po/bpchart$ ls -l /var/lib/pootle/po/bpchart/pl
total 40
-rw------- 1 root root 40223 2010-11-13 17:44 default.po

How can I make it right?

I've found POOTLE_OPTIONS="" in /etc/default/pootle and thought I can
set umask in there. I've tried many different permutations, such as
POOTLE_OPTIONS="umask 0002", but none of them worked.
I've tried running daemon with umask param (service pootle restart
--umask 0002), no luck either.

I've spend past 2 hours googling and trying different stuff - no luck.

Please help.
