Hi Jason When the key is deleted from the source language file, do the developers also delete it from the translation files for each language? The update_stores command when executed on (say) the French file in Pootle will only look at the French file on disk - not at the template at all. The command update_from_templates would "migrate" the current translation to the new template to add new untranslated units and remove deprecated strings. Does that explain what you have been seeing?
