If you need a candidate to step in, I am considering improving the Ukrainian translations in Ubuntu. I learned about the possibility of translating things in Launchpad. And I liked this function. I am a Java developer, and I am looking forward to revisiting the C/C++ knowledge I gained from my Computer Science uni course and being able to write in C/C++. As you can see here https://crowdin.com/project/ubuntu-translations/uk , there is much work to do. This way, I would improve my English and Ukrainian skills and impact Ubuntu translation progress. And, maybe, automate the process if it is possible to achieve.
