Lately I have been converting help files written for my own
benefit into reference articles available to all computer-using
humanity. There are pieces on using multiple (non-Latin font)
languages on Windows and OS/2, on how and why to stop HTML in e-mail,
on spam-tracing and -eradication techniques, and on other
subjects. Several of these have appeared in a local rag
(Bangkok Post Database [computer section]). This is a labor
of love but hints from readers suggest these pieces contain
useful insights found nowhere else.
I'd welcome comments from any of you on how to improve any of these
pieces, as well as ideas where they might be published in hardcopy if
doing so would be a good idea.
These articles (and their improved successors) will remain as
resources on my site so feel free to pass on to others word of
their existence and to set up links (or suggest doing so to
others who might benefit) (but please inform me if you link).
Log on to <www.camblab.com> and head for nuggets.
