Jim,

There are considerable differences between USA and Australian requirements,
including safety. The variances will also greatly depend upon the type of
equipment involved.

Accurately identifying exactly which Australian standards apply for your
particular product type is the first major hurdle.

Subject: Australian Telco Compliance vs US Part 68

Hi everyone,

Our company is getting ready to market some of our existing Part 68
Compliant Telco products in Australia. From a quick review of the
Australian standards it looks like a lot of the signal levels and impedances
are different than Part 68.

Has anyone had any experience with getting Australian Compliance for Part 68
equipment? Are there any areas that I should pay special attention too.

Thanks,
Jim Robson
