Chan Because the Fax machine has a handset it will be classed as a voice terminal and will not be covered by TBR21 or the NTRs. There are two routes to approval:- 1) The relevant parts of NET 4 plus the BS (British Standard) published documents. This route is not used very often. 2) BS 6305 BS 6317 BS 6320 and the relevant parts of BS 6789. If the equipment has any special features, voice call answering for example, BABT SITS (Special Investigation Test Schedule) 87/31 might apply.
