This position is focused on analog telco approvals and physical layer regulatory compliance. It will combine design activities with compliance testing activities. The position involves approximately 15% international travel. The successful candidate will also support other engineering groups in creating designs that conform to international regulations. The position requires the ability to create schedules and test plans for product testing. Also important is the ability to work with administrative staff to scrupulously maintain regulatory folders for approval certificates, test reports, and specifications. A summary of specific requirements follows: BS EE, Physics, or Math (advanced degree a plus) with 5+ years of experience Requires Experience in international Telco approvals including familiarity with international regulatory specifications and approvals testing experience Requires Experience in real-time system design and development Requires some analog hardware design experience and the ability to program in C Position #2: Digital Protocol Design/Approvals Engineer: Develop telecommunications protocols for international markets.
