Hello TREG'ers,

As you have probably noticed, there has been a change in the way TREG
messages are distributed. For several weeks now TREG messages sent to
the [email protected] address have been simply forwarded to Jon Curtis's
list server [email protected] as a test. During this testing period
Jon and I kept our lists coordinated - Additions and corrections
to the TREG list were made to both Jon's list and mine so that if any-
thing went sour we could revert to my list quickly.

Well, we think we've got the bugs worked out well enough to make the
transition official. Henceforth, please send all TREG postings to:

                      [email protected]

Forwarding of messages from the old address will continue for a few
weeks, but will soon be discontinued, so please start using the new
TREG posting address right away.

Changes and additions to the list will also be handled differently.
Rather than sending e-mail to me, you will be able to automatically
change or add to the list by sending e-mail to the Majordomo program
that's managing the new TREG list. For details on how this works,
send an e-mail message to:

                   [email protected]

Leave the subject line blank. The body of the message should contain
only this simple message:

help

You will receive a reply message telling you how to work with the
Majordomo mailing list manager.

If you want information specific to TREG, send another message as before,
but show in the body of the message:

info treg

That's it - very simple and easy - and automatic! I've done it several
times myself, and it works fine.

As for myself, I'll still be here, but "in the woodwork." I'll continue
to post as I learn about useful stuff and as time permits. I'm sure
TREG will continue to grow, more efficiently now with this automatic
list server.

Best regards to all!
