In-Reply-To: <[email protected]> We have found the best way to deal with billing pulse signals is to use a resonant LC filter. This way, you can use standard off the shelf inductor and capacitor components (you only need one of each).
This circuit probably does not give you as much attenuation as a custom part would but we have experience on 10s of products which show it is enough. The total filter cost should be around $1 in reasonable quantities. Using inductors of <5mH allow you to use 100mA rated parts. You can get inductors in SMT which will meet your height requirement.
