I want to ensure that some ISDN bri equipment is properly certified for use in
Egypt. However my distributor there tells me that there is no approval
procedure for ISDN or indeed even for analogue telephones. In addition I am
told that there is no safety or emc requirements .

Can anyone confirm that this is the situation or else suggest a contact from
whom I can get further details?

Thanks,
Derek
