TSB31-B is being finalized by an editorial group under TIA TR41.9 Subcommittee on Terminal Attachment Programs. The subcommittee has finalized the test methods for ISDN/PSDS equipment, recently added to P68 (Ref. FCC Report & Order, FCC 96-1, re CC Docket 93-268). The document is intended to be ballotted within the TR41.9 subcommittee in September 1996, after which it will go out for letter ballot within the parent committee TR41 and TIA. All comments must be resolved before the document can be available for publication, hopefully in early 1997. TSB31-B contains test methods covering the harmonized requirements of P68, as outlined in FCC NPRM 96-39, re CC Docket 96-28, released on February 29, 1996. It should be a worthwhile document to obtain, however, a lot of the test methods in this revision will not be useful unless the FCC publishes an Order for the harmonized Part 68.
