Hello Treg'ers I have a problem.
I needs to know if Return Loss on PABX extensions is an issue for any Euro approvals. Impedance in this application is generally 600 ohm resistive and return loss requirements are easy to meet. In other words: If a telecom device is hard wired to a dedicated PABX extension, does it have to comply with the PTT return loss requirements for a device, like a modem, that can also be connected to a local loop? My goal is to keep the DAA cost on the hardwired device low as possible and this seems to be one way to do so. Thank you in advance. Regards, Duane
