Alan: Could you elaborate on the expected sequence of events regarding EN 60950 and Amendment 4 to IEC 950? I'm not clear on the distinction between "publication" and "dow". Are you saying that the amendment can be legally used immediately upon publication, but is not mandatory until the dow? Specifically, what I would like to know is: What is the earliest date we will to be able to legally use the amendment to EN 60950? For most types of equipment that I work with, Amendment 4 represents an improvement over the existing version of EN 60950. For this reason, I would like to begin using it as soon as possible.
