Sorry about the delay in my answer. The device is an encryption device and as stated, clips between the cell phone and its battery. The device takes the analogue signal from the cell phone, digitizes the signal, encrypts/decrypts the signal, and changes the data back to analogue for the cell phone. There are three versions of the cell phone to which the encryption unit can connect, one for each of the marketplaces in question: US, UK, and Japan. The cell phones are already approved in the market places.
Thanks in advance for any info about regulatory requirements in all three marketplaces. roger [email protected] "The smile is the shortest distance between people. - Victor Borge ========================= Previous Thread ==============> >Roger, >Can you give more details on this "device" ? > > ======================================================== >At 09:19 96/12/17 MST, you wrote: >> Hey all, >> >> I have a digital device that clips between a cell phone and its battery. >> I am looking at the Japanese and European (U.K. in particular) markets for >> this device.
