Hey all, I have a digital device that clips between a cell phone and its battery. I am looking at the Japanese and European (U.K. in particular) markets for this device. Currently for the European market, I assume I will need to comply with EN55022 and EN50082-1 for digital device emissions and immunity, respectively.
Could anyone tell me: 1. If my European Market assumptions are correct? 2. Are there any other requirements for the device in Europe? 3. What are the requirements for the Japanese market? 4. The cell phone already meets all market, regulatory requirements. Will this attachment demand that the cell phone itself be subject to additional requirements in either market?
