sounds like you are into CATV coax in which case you should look at
FCC part 76. The tech part that is.
You do not seem to connect to telephone system so you do not come
under FCC part 68 or Industry Canada equivalent.
It is in a residential area thus you are subject to FCC part 15 class
B and the Industry Canada equivalent.
It is on the wall of a house so I guess that you need to have a high
safety but not at all sure what norms US and CSA would insist upon.
