Reply to: RE>Plating materials for metal parts Hi Pat, The only restrictions I am aware of, are those given in subclause 2.5.10 of EN60950:1992. This refers to Table J.1 in Annex J of the same standard, and gives the combinations of metals that can be used together and those which should be avoided. Hope this is of some help, Regards, Sue.
