For Japan you will need the following type approval contacts - MKK for sure,
possibly JATE:
JATE(Japan Approvals Institute for Telecommunications Equipment and MKK
(Radio Equipment Inspection and Certification Institute). JATE can be
contacted at Isomura Bldg., 1-1-3 Toranomom Minato-ku, Tokyo 105, Japan Tel#
03 3591-4300. They can give you the MKK information.
