The ISDN/PSDS Order (Ref. FCC96-1) is to be published "imminently" by the Federal Register. The Order will be effective 90 days from this date of publication. For your information, there are several errors/omissions etc. in the Order. A working group under TIA TR41.9 Subcommittee chaired by A. Wride of CCL has been formed to prepare a draft list of technical comments for TIA to submit to the FCC. This working group has completed its task and the technical comments have been forwarded to the FCC. A second working group under the FCC Administrative Committee chaired by R. Provost of RGP, Inc. has also been formed to prepare a draft list of administrative comments/suggestions on the implementation of the Order. When the FCC receives the input from this Committee, it is anticipated that a Public Notice will be published outlining the implementation procedures for the Order.
